Today, we pause to remember the courage, sacrifice, and selflessness of those who stormed the beaches of Normandy on June 6, 1944.

Many of those young men had dreams, families, and futures waiting for them at home. Yet they willingly stepped into danger so that others could live in freedom.

Some never returned.

Some carried the scars for the rest of their lives.

All paid a price.

The freedom we enjoy today was purchased by the bravery of men and women who answered the call when their nation needed them most.

As we reflect on D-Day, may we never take their sacrifice for granted.

Jesus said,

"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." (John 15:13, KJV)

Today, we honor the heroes who opened the door to freedom.

We remember their courage.

We honor their sacrifice.

We thank them for their service.

And we pray that God will continue to bless the United States of America.

🇺🇸 We Remember. 🇺🇸 We Honor. 🇺🇸 We Thank You.

RELIGION REMAINED. GOD BECAME DISTANT.

Most people don't drift away from God through open rebellion.

They get busy.

Life fills up with responsibilities, pressures, distractions, disappointments, and daily routines. Little by little, God's voice becomes quieter until one day they realize they are living on assumptions instead of what God actually said.

In King Josiah's day, God's Word had been neglected for generations. People were still religious, but they had become so accustomed to living without hearing God that they no longer knew what He required.

Could that happen to us?

This Sunday, join us as we explore the powerful story of The Forgotten Book and discover how spiritual drift happens, how God's voice gets crowded out, and how God still calls people back to Himself.

YOU'RE NOT JUST TIRED.

YOU'RE STARVING FOR SOMETHING THIS WORLD CAN'T GIVE YOU.

Another weekend won't fix it.

A busier schedule won't fix it.

Because what your soul is missing cannot be found in the things that have been distracting you from God.

Samson learned that lesson the hard way.

The strongest man in the Bible lost everything.

The man who once carried the gates of Gaza on his shoulders now sat blind, broken, and grinding in a prison.

Yet while Samson sat in darkness, something was happening that nobody could see.

"Howbeit the hair of his head began to grow again after he was shaven."
(Judges 16:22, KJV)

The hair wasn't the miracle.

God's mercy was.

While Samson was dealing with the consequences of his choices, God was preparing restoration.

Because even when we drift, God still pursues.

Even when we become distracted, God still calls.

The greatest victory was not that Samson got his strength back.

The greatest victory was that Samson got God back.

Maybe life has worn you down.

Maybe you've been carrying burdens no one else knows about.

Maybe work, stress, anxiety, depression, disappointment, and endless responsibilities have slowly pushed God to the edge of your life.

Maybe what you're longing for isn't more success.

Maybe it's God's presence.

This Sunday, step away from the noise.

Step away from the pressure.

Step away from the distractions.

Come encounter the God who restores what life has broken.

The greatest victory waiting for you may not be getting your old life back.

It may be getting God back at the center of your life.

Samson’s downfall began long before Delilah’s shears—a vineyard stroll, honey from a carcass, a feast with enemies. Each small disobedience chipped at his Nazarite vow. Spiritual drift isn’t sudden but a series of unchecked “harmless” choices. Like Samson, many still carry Bibles and titles while their hearts migrate toward lesser loves. What once provoked conviction now barely stirs the soul.

"And Samson said unto his father, Get her for me; for she pleaseth me well."
(Judges 14:3, KJV)

Reflection: Which “small” compromises have you rationalized lately? What sacred boundary might they be eroding in your walk with God?

SAMSON COULD MAKE AN ENTIRE CITY VULNERABLE... BUT HE FAILED TO MAKE HIMSELF VULNERABLE TO GOD.

Samson waited until midnight, tore the gates from the city, placed them on his shoulders, and carried them to a hill before Hebron.

What a display of strength.

The next morning, the city would wake up vulnerable and exposed because one man had removed its protection.

Yet while Samson could make a city vulnerable, he could not make himself vulnerable to God.

He could tear up gates, but he would not tear down his pride.

Many people can conquer obstacles, win battles, build careers, and impress everyone around them. Yet the greatest victories mean little if pride remains untouched.

His greatest victory was not carrying the gates of Gaza.

It was reaching for God after pride had taken everything else away.

“Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.”
— Proverbs 16:18 (KJV)

The enemy thought Samson was finished. God knew differently.

Samson's story is often remembered for his strength, but his greatest battle wasn't against the Philistines—it was against the drift that slowly pulled him away from God.

One compromise led to another. One distraction led to another. Eventually, Samson found himself blind, bound, and broken because of choices that had carried him far from the purpose God had for his life. Yet even in the prison house, God's mercy was still at work. While the enemy celebrated his fall, God was preparing his restoration.

At Gaza, Samson pulled city gates off their hinges.

At Dagon's temple, he pulled pillars down.

But in prison, God pulled down something even bigger:

**Samson's pride.**

The prison became the place where Samson stopped relying on his own strength and started seeking God again. His greatest victory was not that he got his strength back—it was that he got back to God.

Join us tonight at **6:00 PM** for a message entitled:

**"The Restoration of a Fallen Man"**

Come discover how God's grace can restore what failure has damaged and how God is still able to use people the world has written off.

What if God is moving, but you're too distracted to notice?

One of the saddest verses in Scripture says of Samson:

"And he wist not that the LORD was departed from him." — Judges 16:20 (KJV)

Samson didn't wake up one morning intending to lose his relationship with God. He simply allowed his attention to be drawn elsewhere until he no longer recognized what he was missing.

Life has a way of doing that to us.

Work. Family. Responsibilities. Worries. The endless demands of everyday life.

Before long, days turn into weeks, and weeks turn into months. Prayer becomes less frequent. Worship becomes less meaningful. Church attendance becomes occasional. Yet God is still moving.

When was the last time you truly felt God's presence in your life?

When was the last time you heard His voice speaking peace, direction, or conviction to your heart?

Join us this Sunday as we explore the message:

**Too Distracted to Notice**

God is still moving. The question is: Are we paying attention?
