ABOUT YOUNG CATHOLIC PROFESSIONALS

The mission of Young Catholic Professionals (YCP) is to encourage young adults working in various professions to 'Work in Witness for Christ'. As a national organization, YCP membership consists of young adults in their 20s and 30s, single and married, who are highly motivated to achieve personal and professional success while seeking a greater understanding of their Catholic faith. We also welcome professionals who may not be Catholic, but are interested in learning more about the Catholic faith. Members benefit from access to exclusive networking events, executive speaking events across a variety of industries, spiritual direction, executive mentors, panel discussions, monthly newsletters, and more. LOCAL CHAPTERS & NATIONAL EXPANSION

Young Catholic Professionals’ flagship chapter was founded in Dallas in 2010. The chapter:
• Draws 200 young professionals to monthly speaker events.
• Supports 250 members with additional networking and faith benefits.
• Reaches 1,500 young adults with monthly email updates.

"The greatness of work is inside man."

On his feast day, we’re diving into what Saint Pope John Paul the Second wrote in his papal encyclical, Laborem Exercens. When he was writing this in 1981, JPII didn't know about Slack messages or Excel spreadsheets, but the message he conveys still holds true: Work is supposed to serve the human person, not the other way around.

Cradle Catholics from Maryland, parents of three, and proud pro-life advocates who spend their free time boating and waterskiing on the lake.

When Zach first expressed interest in serving as President of the Phoenix Chapter, he had virtually no prior YCP experience. Rather than allowing that to be a limitation, he took the initiative to contact YCP National to learn more about the organization and the responsibilities of chapter leadership.”

Since joining the leadership team, Zach has built a strong team, raised the standard for member experience, and expanded YCP’s Catholic community relationships. He’s turned his vision into real, measurable results for the Phoenix Chapter!💡

On the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, we’re taking the time to involve our Mother into the work that we do everyday. She witnessed and walked beside Christ during his earthly work, and each rosary bead allows us to reflect upon that. So who better to call upon and ask for her intercession each workday?!
