Meet Clara Lyton, from chilima village. When our team first screened her during a routine Nutrition Assessment, her MUAC tape read red, severe acute malnutrition.

Her mother had walked over an hour carrying her, hoping someone could help after learning about our under five assessment program from the village health voluteer.

Within days, she was enrolled on Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF), and our team began weekly follow-ups to track her progress.

Today, she is stronger, playing, and smiling again.

Stories like hers are why we do this work and why we keep going back.

Help us bring more od such stories to a child and a family.

September is Hunger Action Month, and for us, it's every month.

Every week our team travels around Malawi measuring, screening, following up, and sharing the love of Christ with every family we meet.

This month, we're asking you to walk with us. Follow along as we show you exactly where your support goes, one outreach at a time.

Recovery from malnutrition does not happen in a single visit. It is a journey that requires care, encouragement, and continued support.

Through our child follow-up visits, our team returns to families to check on children who have received support, monitor their progress, and make sure they continue moving toward better health.

Every follow-up visit is an opportunity to encourage families and celebrate progress together.

In many rural communities across Malawi, opportunities to gather together and experience stories of faith, hope, and transformation can be rare.

Weekly we bring a village together to watch the story of Jesus through film creating a space where families, children, and neighbors can hear a message of love, forgiveness, and hope.

For some, it is a reminder of God’s presence. For others, it is the first time they have encountered the story of Jesus in this way.

We are always over joyed seeing children laughing, running, cheering, and simply enjoying the moment.

The games bring children together from different ages and backgrounds to experience the joy of play, teamwork, and friendship.

From exciting challenges to unforgettable moments, every game creates a space where a child feel's seen, valued, and celebrated.

"We get probably 90% of children in our follow-up program on the road to a good recovery." — Donna Wertz, Founder PB+J

Malnutrition is the biggest threat facing children under five in Malawi. While RUTF (Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food) is available in most areas, this service doesn't reach the villages where the majority of at-risk and suffering children live.

These are the villages we visit every week through our nutrition and child follow-up outreaches.

This work gives life back to families who felt forgotten and hope to so many more.

Help us give more families hope.

In communities where food insecurity and limited access to healthcare put children at risk, nutrition assessments are a critical first step in the fight against malnutrition.

During our weekly outreach programs, our team screens children to identify signs of acute malnutrition, including measuring their mid-upper arm circumference (MUAC) and assessing their overall nutrition status.

Children identified with malnutrition are connected to treatment, including Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF), a nutrient-rich intervention that helps children recover and regain strength.

Help support one nutrition assessment.

Jesus taught that our prayers should extend beyond our own needs and wants.

His mission while on Earth was to save the lost, and we have the opportunity to join Him in that work. Prayer for others can introduce them to the amazing love of God and lead them to a life-changing decision to accept His Son.

This is why we carry out prayer walks to reach communities and homes that may never hear the gospel.
