St. Marina Coptic Orthodox Church, Irvine, CA St. Marina Coptic Orthodox Church, a parish in the Diocese of LA, Southern California, and Hawaii under the auspices of His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion Fr.

The idea to establish our parish was conceived in 1997, to serve the Southern part of Orange County. Tadros Malaty served for a few months prior to the ordination of Fr. Bishoy Nabil Kamel. A small building was purchased in April 1997. As the congregation grew, a much larger commercial building was purchased in February 2005 and remodeled. An adjacent large building may soon be purchased, for expansion of services. Marina’s priests and congregation are active in the community at large.

With hearts full of trust in God‘s promise that we leave earth on hope to join the crowd of saints in the paradise of joy, the church offers its condolences to Hany Naguib and the family for the departure of his wife, Ireny Ibrahim.
