Happy Easter! He is Risen! It’s a glorious day to celebrate Jesus’ triumph over sin and death! Mary Magdalene said, “I have seen the Lord.” What a relief and hope to know we have a living savior who gives new life to anyone who believes.

Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’” Mary Magdalene went and announced to the disciples, “I have seen the Lord”—and that he had said these things to her.

Today is Good Friday.

While we were still weak, at the right moment, Christ died for ungodly people. It isn’t often that someone will die for a righteous person, though maybe someone might dare to die for a good person. But God shows his love for us, because while we were still sinners Christ died for us. So, now that we have been made righteous by his blood, we can be even more certain that we will be saved from God’s wrath through him. If we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son while we were still enemies, now that we have been reconciled, how much more certain is it that we will be saved by his life? And not only that: we even take pride in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, the one through whom we now have a restored relationship with God.

Today marks the beginning of Lent. It’s a time to remember what Jesus did for us on the cross, prepare our hearts, and journey deeper with the Lord before Easter.

During Lent, people give up something (fast), spend time in prayer, and give. Whatever you decide to do, we pray this season is a time of reflective, hopeful, and meaningful connection with God.

Hi everyone!! My name is Mia and I’ll be taking over the Epic IG on Tuesday 😌

I’ll be doing the takeover starting ~9am Japan time Tuesday (6pm CST Monday), so feel free to ask me questions about interning with Epic, Japan, my life, etc! 🫡

🌟 Japanese-American 🇯🇵 from Boston, MA (but actually from the suburbs lol)
🌟 Graduated from Bentley University 🎓 with a degree in Information Design & Corporate Communication
🌟 I’m actually new to Epic but I was involved in Cru all 4 yrs of college! .bentley 🤩
