First Christian Church of Irvine First Christian Church is an independent Bible believing congregation located in Irvine, KY. Like our page to follow events, projects, pictures, and sermons!

We are an independent Christian Church, not affiliated with the Disciples of Christ (DOC) denomination. We are just a loving church that has been in existence for 158 years. Even though we have an older church building we believe it is our mission to reach people of all ages so we have a blended worship service. Throughout the year we have many events and programs reaching out to the community. He

re's a basic summary of our beliefs:

We believe the Bible is God's Word It is living and active. It is God breathed and is our only source of authority. We believe in God the Father one Lord Jesus the Son of God. We believe the church consist of those everywhere that profess faith in Christ and obedience to him in all things according to the scriptures. We believe faith is a personal response to the initiative of God. We believe that repentance and baptism are appropriate necessary acts of obedience once a person is a committed believer in Christ. We celebrate the Lord's supper every week and believe that prayer is a natural expression of one's relationship with God. We find our mission and making disciples baptizing them and teaching them to become mature in the faith. We believe that Jesus will return a second time to judge the living and the dead. We believe that God created mankind in his own image male and female sexually and biologically different But with equal value and access to God through faith in Jesus Christ Adam and Eve were created to complement each other one flesh a union we call marriage. Our “Grace is Free” retreat shirts are now available for preorder! 🍁

The shirt is completely optional and is not required to attend the retreat—but it will be a beautiful reminder of the day and the gift of God’s grace.

Shirt pricing:
Small–XL: $18
2XL and larger: $21

Shirts will be sage green with our full-color “Grace is Free” event design. (See the graphic for an example). You can arrange for pre-payment or pay for your shirt at the event. Shirt orders must be placed no later than September 11th.
