“Equality is in the air we breathe”

Based on the poem by Langston Hughes and composed by Gwyneth Walker, this performance left us all feeling empowered with hope at last night’s choir concert “United in Song.”

It’s powerful message is it exactly what every American needs to hear right now: “Our land must be the land where EVERY man and woman is free” 🤍

Everyone had so many fun guesses on the last one, so we had to do another video with the men! Can you guess the singer?

Our music program has been working hard in rehearsal for their upcoming choir concert. This performance reflects on America’s past while looking to the future with hope. It reminds us that the love which unites us will always be stronger than the hate that tries to divide us.

With songs spanning almost every genre and all music written by American composers, you’re not going to want to miss this.
