We are a multi-ethnic & multi-generational church focused on exposing our city to Grace City Church officially launched in the Fall of 2016.

Grace City Church began with 4 families from North Carolina who moved across the country with the vision of starting a church to make disciples that make disciples. Since that time, we have seen God birth a beautiful multi-ethnic community of people who are passionate about sharing the grace of Jesus with the city of Irvine. Initially, our church met at Woodbury Elementary School. However, we outgrew this space after a year and a half and moved in the summer of 2018 to Jeffrey Trail Middle School. This move has enabled us to continue to grow and reach more people in our city.

🍂 Fall Fest is this Sunday!

Join us for a morning of fall fun for the whole family! We’ll have inflatables, a petting zoo, pumpkin decorating, and all the fall food favorites including hot dogs, corn dogs, cotton candy, popcorn, and apply c***r!

Each Serve Team will have a table with team leaders ready to share more about what they do, answer your questions, and help you find a place that fits your gifts, passions, and availability. Grace City started with four families who said yes to God’s call to move to Irvine and plant a church.

Ten years later, that “yes” has grown into a church family made up of so many people, stories, and changed lives.

So this week, we’re extra grateful for the people who said yes at the beginning and for everyone who has been part of the story since.

10 YEARS OF GRACE CITY | 2024–2026

As we are a day away from celebrating 10 years of Grace City, we’ve reached the final chapter of our timeline.

Grace City has continued to give toward the vision for a permanent home, with more than $1.2 million given to date. While we continue to search for a permanent location in Irvine, our church family has continued to grow and invest in the mission God has given us.

During these years, we also had the opportunity to help plant The Altar Church in San Diego, continuing our mission to help plant churches in California.

Now, as we celebrate 10 years of Grace City Church, we look back on where we started, remember the people and moments that have shaped our church, and look ahead to what God has next.

And tomorrow, we get to celebrate it all together. Join us Sunday at 10:30 AM at Jeffrey Trail Middle School as we celebrate 10 years of Grace City and God’s faithfulness through every season.

This Sunday, we’re celebrating 10 years of Grace City Church! We’ve been looking forward to this day, and we can’t wait to gather together to celebrate all that God has done over the past decade.

10 YEARS OF GRACE CITY | 2022–2024

Grace City continued to grow, and our focus began to turn toward finding a permanent home in Irvine.

We launched our For the One campaign with a vision for a building that could serve our church family and create new opportunities to reach people in our community. Together, our church committed to raising more than $1 million toward a future building.

Over these two years, our church family came together around a shared vision for the future of Grace City and took a significant step of faith toward establishing a permanent home.

Our Fall City Groups are launching the week of September 14th!

While Sundays are important, we believe real life transformation happens throughout the week as we gather in community, dive into God’s Word, and learn to follow Jesus together.

We have several groups meeting throughout the week, plus groups for youth and young adults, so there’s a place for you to get connected!

This Sunday, all of our City Groups will be in the back of the auditorium after service. Come meet our group leaders, ask questions, and explore the different groups to find the right fit for you.

10 YEARS OF GRACE CITY | 2020–2022

After COVID-19, Grace City began rebuilding and finding a new rhythm. We continued meeting on the field through the summer of 2021, leased space from The Village Church that fall, and returned to Jeffrey Trail Middle School in the winter of 2021.

As we settled back into a more familiar rhythm, our church family continued to grow and reconnect. During this season, we also experienced the joy of sending the Dillard family out to plant a new church in San Diego.

It was an important moment in Grace City’s story as we watched a family from our own church take the next step toward planting a church of their own.
