We’re back! 🥰

Join us for an uplifting morning filled with encouragement, connection, and joy. You’ll enjoy an inspiring speaker, Julie Chang, meaningful worship, a delicious catered brunch, and plenty of time to reconnect with familiar faces and meet new friends.

Our incredible small group leaders have been praying for you and preparing thoughtful, enriching classes for the semester ahead—we’re so excited for all God has in store!

Semester Details
Fall Kick-Off Event: Friday, September 18 @ 9:15 AM (Semester runs until December 11 with Thanksgiving off)
Location: 18 Truman, Irvine (Park in any spaces marked for 16, 18, and 20, except those in spots right in front of buildint 20). Street parking on Truman is available as well)
Registration Fee: $75 (Partial and full scholarships are always available—finances should never be a barrier to joining us.)

Can’t make the kick-off? No problem! You’re still welcome to join—regular classes begin the following Friday at the same time and location.

Childcare RSVP: Please email [email protected] with your child(ren)’s name(s) and age(s) as soon as possible so we can ensure adequate childcare coverage.

Our BEMA group was recently featured in Marty Solomon’s email! Here’s what was written about our group:

This is Julia, Alison (and Joel), and their BEMA group!

Years ago, a friend introduced Alison to the BEMA Podcast. They were both blown away and grew so much, and they wished that they could be a part of Brent and Marty’s discussion group. Eventually, Alison’s friend moved away, but she kept talking about BEMA with her Moms’ Ministry. Slowly and surely, more and more women started to listen.

After a handful of people expressed a desire to start a group, they began meeting together. Their ministry to mothers has 40–50 women from over ten different churches. They often meet for different studies, so this seemed to fit right in, and they began offering it as a study option.

One of the co-leaders has a son named Joel who heard his mom was listening to BEMA. He started listening and had questions and thoughts of his own. As she would prepare for their discussion each week, she would talk with Joel about the episodes and often share his insights with the group. Joel eventually became the first man invited to the moms group!

They discovered there are other moms who listen, even if they can’t be a part of the group. Julia (standing next to Joel, wearing glasses) was the most recent addition to what she called the “BEMA bandwagon.” She is one of five women who serve on a leadership team for the ministry, and even though she is typically not a “podcast person,” she has grown a lot through this.
