BIG NEWS!

We excited to announce that Garrett Sherman-Clowns 4 Christ will be with us this Sunday morning August 30th.

This is our annual Back to School/Sunday School Picnic Celebration.

Clowns 4 Christ will be providing the music and the morning message.

We will not be having services at our church but will be meeting at Camp Burnamwood (900 Camp Burnamwood Rd, Irvine, KY 40336)

Sunday, August 30, 2026 at 10:30 AM

After the service we will be having lunch. There will be swimming, inflatables and other activities for the children and youth.

The service and lunch will be in doors to enjoy the air conditioning. However, we encourage you to bring a lawn chair to enjoy the outdoor activities after lunch.

Bring your family, neighbors, and your biggest smiles, you don't want to miss this special time of worship, laughter, fellowship, and great food.

Please see announcement about Rev. Micael Adams, Nazarene Evangelist passing away. Please pray for his wife Elizabeth and their family.

It is with great sadness yet great rejoicing that Michael Adams has gone to be with the Father.
He went peacefully and quickly with Elizabeth beside him and, as always, on his own terms.
Dad has been struggling with health issues and repeated hospitalizations the last few years and we rejoice that his suffering has ended and he has begun his eternal life in Heaven.

More to come as we grieve as a family and plan for his funeral. We will send out all information as soon as we have it. Please feel free to call, text, and reach out. Right now we are gathering with Mom and supporting her in every way possible. If you’d like to help in any way please reach out to Sheena (Ken’s wife) 727-735-1134

The Irvine First Church of the Nazarene, located at 280 Broadway Street, will host Jeff Dickens of Columbus, Ohio, this Sunday morning, August 2, 2026.

Dickens will provide the special music during the morning worship service, which begins at 10:45 AM.

Mark your calendars and join hands with our community as we lift up our local schools, students, and staff in prayer.

-Our Assignment: Estill County Middle School (partnering with New Beginning).

-Where We Meet: First at the Middle School for prayer, then moving to the Board of Education Office for a combined community prayer.
