The book of Revelation is the end of the Bible, and it describes the end of evil and the end of this world as we know it. The book has fascinated people for centuries, driving fear in some and confusion in others. But the first hearers received the visions in the book with comfort and hope because Jesus is the One who is at the center of the revelation. He is the One who is with us, keeps His promises, conquers, and will make everything new.

Revelation was written as a letter to seven churches that was meant to be read aloud. The first people who received it heard it first, and they were called blessed.
