On this Memorial Day, I wanted to take a moment to highlight the characteristics that those in our military possess as they defend our nation each day. It is no secret that one of the greatest blessings our Lord has bestowed upon this country is raising up brave men and women to fight and protect this land we hold so dear. Throughout our 250 year history, our God has blessed us supremely with courageous men and women who put others needs above their own in defense of its citizenry. While we salute the brave men and women of our military, both past and present, above all we praise our Heavenly Father for the bountiful blessings He has bestowed upon this land throughout its existence. May the scriptures below comfort and bless you as they focus on characteristics and qualities that our military has possessed throughout its history.
