What an exciting and powerful Bible Study we just finished tonight at Youngs Chapel AME Church! 🙌🏾🔥

Tonight, we went deeper into Sunday’s message from our “When Relationships Collide” series:

WEEK 5 — “STEP IN”

📖 1 Samuel 25:14–17, 23–28, 32–35

Through the wisdom and courage of Abigail, we learned that sometimes God calls us to STEP IN—not to take sides, not to add more drama, but to keep a bad situation from getting worse.

Tonight’s conversation reminded us to recognize when trouble is escalating, step in with wisdom and humility, give and receive godly counsel, and intervene diplomatically—with love, clarity, and respect.

One of the most important questions we asked tonight was: Who is your Abigail? Who has permission to step into your life and tell you, “Slow down. Think about this. Pray first. Don’t make this decision while you’re angry”?

We all need people who love us enough to tell us the truth!

Our BIG IDEA for the week:

“Let God lead as you step in to keep a bad situation from getting worse.”

Yesterday evening was fun and informative on Carlisle Street in Irmo, SC. Our church hosted an informative community forum on voting and the town hosted an amazing Jazz event at the park next door to us. Youngs Chapel's members also participated and supported the town's Jazz event as well. Thank you, Youngs Chapel, for supporting this great community activity in our wonderful town. The music was awesome! We are looking forward to the next show later this month. See you on Carlisle!
