Ireton Community Vacation Bible School

Our Tropical Trek VBS was a phenomenal week! 🌴🌺Thank you to everyone who made it possible. From every single volunteer to all the people who donated food items & more, we are blown away by how our community supports Ireton VBS!

Friday was a great final day. We learned about how Jesus called a man named Paul. God forgave Paul's sins just like He forgives us. Our take home point was: No matter my sin, God finds me!

We learned about Sandy, a pig whose native home is a tropical island. 🐷

We closed the evening out with the fun closing program where we got to share the songs we’ve been learning. 🎶

We had such a wonderful week with our VBS friends! Thank you for bringing your children to Ireton VBS! 🌞

Day 4 was an awesome night at Tropical Trek! We heard the good news that Jesus rose from the dead! Jesus’ friends had lost all hope when they saw Jesus die. But on Easter morning, they saw the empty tomb and heard the message of the angels, “He has risen!” When I think there’s no hope, God finds me! ❤️

We learned about a new animal, Dawn the iguana. 🦎 Iguanas live in humid areas which help them shed their old skin and become renewed.

Our stations were amazing again tonight. We got to make bracelets at crafts, do some relay races in games, sing & dance in at the music station, and hear about Jesus in at the Bible station. It’s hard to believe we only have one day left! 🌺

We had a beautiful Day 3 at Tropical Trek! Tonight our Bible story was about Zacchaeus, a man who was lost and needed Jesus. We learned tonight that Jesus finds us, too!

Marco the capuchin monkey, was our animal friend for tonight.

It was a beautiful night to remember: when we are lost, Jesus comes to seek and save us!

On Day 2, we learned that even when we feel lonely, we are never truly alone because Jesus is always with us. When I’m lonely, God finds me! 🌴🌺

Our animal of the night, Sola the Sea Turtle, reminded us of this. Many sea turtles migrate thousands of miles all by themselves. They were created by God to know exactly where to go. 🐢

We learned some amazing new songs in Music, enjoyed making a cool craft & staining our Nativity pieces, played some fun games & of course, enjoyed a snack.

Jesus is with us, even on a cooler, rainy VBS evening! ⛱️

Our Tropical Trek VBS began with a wonderful first night!

The VBS meal had a great turnout. We are so thankful to everyone in the community that supported our VBS meal! We enjoyed some delicious taverns.

Our animal for Monday was Beacon the Toucan! We learned how God created toucans with special features to help them stay safe from predators.

Our Bible lesson was how God saved Baby Moses by sending helpers to take care of him. We learned that when “When I have troubles, God finds me!”

The music, crafts, and games were so fun. Thanks to all our volunteers who make VBS possible! We look forward to seeing everyone on Day 2!
