Over the weekend on September 18th, the Spirituality Center in collaboration with the Cuvilly Arts & Earth Center and the Three Sisters Garden Project, hosted "The Three Sisters", an event based off the book "Braiding Sweetgrass" by Robin Wall Kimmerer. The group worked with one another to pick and prepare corn for drying in the greenhouse, where it will be used as popping corn! Join us on Saturday October 23rd from 9AM to 2PM to learn the meaning of The Day of the Dead. We’ll talk about the significance of this tradition and the reasons to celebrate. We’ll pray for those who have gone before us and reflect on the meaning of Eternal Life. We invite you to bring a picture of your loved one to place on an altar that we will prepare.

Join us on Sunday October 3rd from 2 to 5 pm in the Spirituality Center for Art McDonald PhD's presentation "When Does Liberty Yield to the Common Good or Does it Ever?". Art will reflect on the current tension between individual rights and the common good. Art recognizes the absence of the “common good” from the Constitution but suggests that it is fundamental in religious, especially Catholic, moral teachings. Can there be a common good? There will be a presentation, dialogue and time for quiet reflection.
