Andrew and I recently read "Eat, Drink & Be Merry," by Ray Ortlund. Here's some random takeaways:

-Be a cheerful Christian.
-God was happy when He made you.
-Laugh at a good joke. God is laughing too.
-He has put some dream in the windshield of your life - go after it to God's glory with joy.

Our staff just finished "Dust to Dust" by Jen Wilkin. "Bodies age, people develop." It was a joy to think about God's true story of aging. Don't buy the lie of our world that says to age is bad. Our outer lives may waste away, as Paul says, but our inner lives will grow all the more glorious as we walk with Jesus in old age.
