Your kid doesn't have to be a "church kid."
They don't have to know the Bible.
They don't have to know the songs.
They don't have to know anybody when they walk through the door.
Just bring them.
We're having Rodeo Teen Night at The Refuge Church this Friday from 6–9 PM, and we're opening our doors to young people from all over Iowa Park, Wichita Falls, and the surrounding area.
🐂 Ride the mechanical bull
🤠 Try your hand at roping
🔥 Hang out around the bonfire
🍫 Make some s'mores
🍽️ Eat some food
💧 Grab some water
😂 Laugh, make some friends, and have a good time
And every bit of it is 100% FREE.
We're geared toward teens, but we're not checking IDs at the door. 😂 We've had kids as young as 9 and young adults up to 21 come hang out with us before.
Toward the end of the night, we'll gather together for some worship and a message about Jesus.
If you already know Him, come worship with us.
If you don't know Him, please don't let that keep you away. You are exactly who we'd love to have.
Nobody expects you to have your life figured out. You don't need the right clothes, the right background, or the right answers. You don't even have to know what you believe yet.
Come ride a bull. Eat a s'more. Sit by the fire. Meet some people who are genuinely glad you're there.
And while you're with us, we're going to tell you about Jesus.
Maybe you come for a free Friday night and a mechanical bull.
Maybe you leave having met the One who changes everything. ❤️
And to our friends at other churches and youth groups — y'all come too! Bring your crew! We would absolutely love to have different youth groups come together, have fun, worship together, and fellowship as the one Body of Christ that we are. This isn't about whose church name is on the building. It's about Jesus. 🙌
