We apologize for the disjointed service days of late. We can now share we were going through the eviction process with a raccoon family! 🦝

We didn’t want to expose our members to risk by being in a building with critters. We believed they were all captured (Mom+babies), and resumed services. On that Friday before church was to resume, we learned not only were they squatters, but they were repeat offenders! 😩

So back to evictions and closed doors

Thank you to the very diligent work of , , , and several more in the Williams family who cleaned up the mess, shampoo’d the carpets, and checked traps daily with the rodent removal company. And thank you to the anonymous donor (you know who you are ❤️) who paid the whole critter removal bill !!!

Last thank you all for your patience. I’m sure you understand we wanted to deal with the matter quickly and privately.

We hope to see you all at church tomorrow.

Welsh Cemetery is now a part of my past as I put the finishing touch on the Edwards stone this morning. Gonna do some work in the Frytown Cemetery next. It has been ten years since I first set foot in it and there are few that need my attention. I did my apprenticeship in this cemetery so it's kind of a special place.

The Welsh pioneer cemetery association received a gift from the Pine Hill cemetery in Des Moines, of 25 grave markers and 144 flags, for our veterans graves given to Randy M to bring when discussing where get……

Due to unexpected circumstances we will not be able to hold church services this Sunday. We will hold church services again on June 7th (the first Sunday)
