We are planning on a Christmas Day Mass at 2:30 in the main church! Thanks to all those who have volunteered to help with music. We could still use a few more altar servers, so any young men who are interested in learning the Mass should contact father.

Traffic is currently stopped on I-80 for an accident. I'm stuck outside West Liberty. Will get there as soon as I can! Pray an extra rosary that everyone is okay.

Thanks to Father Close who helped us out with Masses for the last year! Father Appel will be the only priest offering Latin Mass in Iowa City for the time being. He will be meeting with the bishop and other clergy this week to determine the future of the Latin Mass in our diocese. Please say an extra prayer for our community.

You have probably heard about the motu proprio already. Please take a moment and relax if you are feeling anxious. We are planning on our regular Mass schedule at St. Patrick's going forward. If anything develops here in the Davenport Diocese we will let you know. Please pray for our bishop!

It has been nice to see so many new people at Mass! We are currently celebrating Mass in the small chapel at 2:30 PM. The entrance is near the back of church by the signs for the adoration chapel. Hopefully we will be back to having a high Mass soon!
