🧡 Today, members and friends of St. Andrew wore orange as part of Weekend, joining people across the country in honoring lives lost to gun violence and standing with survivors, families, and communities working for a safer future.

Thank you to everyone who participated and to our Act Justly team for helping us remember that faith calls us to care for our neighbors and work for the well-being of our communities.

We had a brass-filled celebration this morning for the life of Lee Witwer. Special thanks to Mt. Vernon Brass, Pastors Colette Soults and Jordan Warntjes, and the Witwer children and grandchildren. Hello all! Thank you for the bottles, toilet paper and paper towel rolls! We have enough of those. We still need a lot of regular size pie pans. If you have any please drop them off in the VBS bin in the Atrium.

Congratulations to Peter Wallace (69MD, 74R) on being honored with the University of Iowa Eight Over 80 Award.

A longtime pediatrician and community health leader, Wallace has dedicated his career to improving the lives of children and families in Iowa and beyond. From founding Pediatric Associates of Iowa City to supporting child safety, public health, and school-based health care initiatives, his impact continues to be felt across the community.

We want your garbage!!!

We have several VBS projects this year, and many of them require a large number of recyclable items that you probably use in your own homes. We are looking for donations from YOU! Please leave donations in the marked bin in the atrium. We are asking for:

*CLEAR plastic bottles (several sizes and shapes - salad dressing bottles, peanut butter jars, water and soda bottles...you name it! We are especially looking for 16-24 ounce water/soda bottles). Please make sure they are clean, dry and still have their LIDS ON and WRAPPERS REMOVED!

*Paper Towel Tubes and Toilet Paper Tubes

*Clean aluminum pie plates
