Come journey through Holy Week and Easter at Trinity Episcopal Church in Iowa City. Holy Week is a sacred time where Christians are invited to enter into the final days of Jesus' earthly life, including his death and crucifixion. This holy observance culminates in the celebration of liberation and resurrection on Easter Day.

Lent begins in a few short weeks, and for this year's Lenten series we're excited to explore together how looking at church, the Bible, and ourselves through a q***r lens can expand our relationships with God and each other. All are welcome! Join us for "Queering Lent" on Zoom on Wednesdays in Lent, starting on February 25th, and don't worry if you can't make it each week, come to as many as you're able!

In observance of Transgender Day of Remembrance, Trinity Episcopal Church in Iowa City will offer a service of Evening Prayer with a candlelight Vigil at 6 pm on Thursday, November 20. Transgender Day of Remembrance is an annual observance on November 20 that honors trans lives lost to violence. It "was started in 1999 by transgender advocate Gwendolyn Ann Smith as a vigil to honor the memory of Rita Hester, a transgender woman who was killed in 1998. The vigil commemorated all the transgender people lost to violence since Rita Hester’s death, and began an important tradition that has become the annual Transgender Day of Remembrance." - GLAAD
