That means that we want to know just what that is...so we have banded together to seek it! Thanks to the modern information age, we have access to research that has illuminated the Biblical account like never before, shedding light on years of untold history and une
arthing long neglected or lost texts. These texts include the Hebrew Gospel of Matthew, the Dead Sea Scroll's and more. At our humble meeting location, learning, teaching, and worship go hand in hand. One question you may have is, what's a Notsrim? In the First Century, Jewish followers of Yehoshua (Jesus) we referred to as Notsrim, meaning Gaurdians or Watchmen, ostensibly after the name of Yehoshua's home town. An alternative Hebrew Matthew reading is "the Girded." In Acts 24, the Apostle Paul is accused of being a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes, i.e. Again, these were the group of followers who had branched out from Jerusalem, as mentioned in Acts 21:2: "You see, brother, how many thousands there are among the Jews of those who have believed. They are all zealous for the law." Indeed, that Law was the Torah, which their Rabbi now meeting at icpl on shabbat*
Yehoshua the Mashiach taught them like none other, and which was being written one their hearts by the Holy Spirit of Truth. Indeed, the Law is not just for Jews, but for all nations that would dwell among the children of Israel. Here at the Student Center, we reason together about the role of the Mosaic Law in our lives, and its continued relevance in light of the gospel's teachings.
