🍼 Our PSIC Baby Bottle Drive is HERE! 🍼

This year, Pregnancy Services of Ionia County is providing a digital option to support local moms, dads, and babies through our digital Baby Bottle Drive! Spread the word!

Every $10 donation “fills a bottle” and helps provide:
• Pregnancy support
• Parenting education
• Baby supplies
• Mentorship and encouragement
• Resources for families in our community

If we can reach 25 bottles filled ($250) we have a supporter who is willing to match those gifts. That means the first $250 donated will become $500 in support for local families! 🎉

On May 25, Monday at Zion Church at 8:30 a.m on Washington Street, we are decorating children's bikes and helping to repair, tighten up, and make the bikes look ready for the Memorial Day Ionia Parade. We will be there at 8:30 to assist with ribbons, flags streamers, and tools to help the children get parade ready. Put this in your calendar and bring your kids down for a fun time! We will be at 423 West Washington Street from 8:30 till 9:45. The memorial day parade starts from 10:00 to 12:00 on Main Street in Ionia. Call 616-460-9085. - Roger for further information.

Mel Trotter Ministries is seeking funds to help their continued help with the unhoused people they serve in Grand Rapids. Thanks to a generous donation matching funds are available up to $50,000!

I believe this indirectly helps us in Ionia since this situation is so bad in Grand Rapids we are seeing people come to Ionia believing they will get more help here. We try our best (especially with food help) but we can’t do it all.

As economic hardships continue to affect our community, more of our neighbors are finding themselves unhoused, hungry, and alone. With your help, we can humbly serve them. Today the Church celebrates Ascension Day — the day Jesus returned to Heaven 40 days after His resurrection.
Ascension Day reminds us that Jesus is alive, reigning, and still at work in our lives today. And just as He promised, one day He will return again.
