Today starts what most call “Holy Week” with Palm Sunday. It also happens to be the 5th Sunday of the month. Today would be a great day to start a new journey at Iola Missionary Baptist Church as we will be having our 5th Sunday fellowship with a meal after our service. Next week will start with coffee and donuts and we will celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior followed with communion. We would love to see you there.

After the last 2 weeks of snow and illnesses we are excited to get back to our worship and fellowship at Iola Missionary Baptist. We’ll continue to explore the purposes of the church. You are welcome just as you are and we hope to see some new faces.

Unfortunately, a couple of things are causing Iola Missionary Baptist to have to cancel service this Sunday morning. The parking lot is still mostly inaccessible from snow and the pastor and 2 other members of his family are still recovering from covid in the last few days. We hope to see everyone back and healthy next week.

In light of the predictions of snowfall through Saturday, we are canceling Sunday service. Please stay safe and not venture out unless absolutely necessary. We hope to see you next week.
