Hey Cornerstone Family 👋🏻

Our annual Food Drive is officially underway! 🥫
Now through November 23, we’re collecting food to help overflow the shelves for Citrus County Blessings and the Citrus County Family Resource Center.

Every donation goes directly to children and families in need right here in our local schools. 🍎

There’s a tremendous need across Citrus County, and your generosity truly makes a difference. 💛

🗓️ Bring non-perishable food items starting Sunday, November 9
📍 Drop off at Cornerstone Baptist Church

Last year, your kindness provided 4,391 pounds of food! 🤯

🎃🍕 What a great Sunday!
Pizza & Pumpkins was full of fall fun-pumpkin painting, pumpkin bowling, sack races, and smiles! 🧡

Huge THANK YOU to all our families who came out and joined us after service today. We love doing life and laughter together here at the Corner!

“Humans see what is visible, but the Lord sees the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7b
 
In a world that values appearances and accomplishments, it can be easy to overlook the strengths of your kids-their kindness, courage, or love for others. Just as God chose David for what He saw in David’s heart, not his outward appearance, celebrate the good things you see in your kids. Encourage your kids by pointing out the characteristics that God sees and values. Remind your kids that God sees what is on the inside, not their outer appearance or actions.

KidsMin grades K-5th💛 Our Simple Truth this September is, “I Am Known!” Kids will learn, “God Knows Every Detail,” “God Knows Everyone,” “God Knows Every Hurt,” and “God Knows Every Situation.” Join us at Cornerstone Baptist Church every Wednesday night @ 6pm this month-you’re going to love it!

Yesterday, we finished our unit in the book of Judges. We heard time and time again that strength comes from God alone. Just like the people in these stories had no power to defeat their enemies on their own, we too have to rely on God. We cannot please God on our own. Through faith in Jesus, people are saved from sin and receive the Holy Spirit, who helps them live to please God.

Next week, we continue walking through the Old Testament with the book of Ruth. This story goes beyond mere physical provision to
reveal a God who made the way to offer us salvation.

🙏 Pray that our kids would see God’s sovereign hand at work in this story and that they would trust in Jesus as the perfect and final Redeemer.
