It's not too late to join us this evening at the church for Freedom in Christ, a ministry supporting those who need to experience true freedom that lasts. Our group meets from 7-9 PM every Friday.

Over the past few days, many of our pastoral staff and their wives had a wonderful time attending the Southern Baptist Convention! On Tuesday, Reverend W***y Rice was elected as our next Southern Baptist Convention President. On Monday, Rev. Rice provided us with a sermon on "Fighting the Good Fight," reminding us all to stay true to God's word. As he steps into this new role, we pray that God grants him wisdom to lead our churches in the year ahead. It was a fantastic week of learning, diving into panel discussions, and building great connections with neighboring churches and those from other states! We also enjoyed speaking with representatives from various Southern Baptist colleges on behalf of our prospective students.

What a beautiful time of fellowship on Sunday afternoon honoring another of our Embrace Grace mothers, Hayley. We are so blessed to celebrate life and share in the joy of this beautiful gift from God.

May has been a busy and exciting month for our church and school, but one of the highlights has been celebrating Pastor Byron Brown's 10-year anniversary of ministry at First Baptist. We are incredibly grateful for the faithful leadership he has shown to our church family over the past decade.

We are also very thankful to Kim for her constant support and faithful partnership in ministry. Together, they have been a tremendous blessing to our church community.

Thank you, Pastor Byron and Kim, for ten years of faithful service, loving leadership, and countless investment in the lives of others. We look forward to all that God has in store for the years ahead!
