Prayer Focus: To be thirsty for living water

John 4:13-14
Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

John 7:37-38 (NIV):
"Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them."

In this world today, there is much we can fill ourselves with... many options; however, we will go back and be thirsty again. The world will only leave us thirsty.

Our God has living water that will not only satisfy, but His river of living water will flow from those who drink from Him. Oh, that the river will flow to those around us!

Prayer:
Jesus, I choose to drink from Your living waters. I choose You! May Your living waters flow as a rushing river for You.

We Need REPENTANCE Back in our PULPITS!

1. John preached repentance – Matt.3:2
2. Jesus preached repentance – Matt.4:17. This is also before the cross.
3. The apostles preached repentance – Mrk 6:1.
4. Peter preached repentance at Pentecost, after the cross – Acts 2:38
5. Paul preached repentance – Acts 17:30; 26:20, after the cross.
6. Repentance is the first principle of the doctrine of Christ- Heb.6:1,2
7. Five of the seven churches are called to repent – Rev.2:5,16,21; 3:3,19
8. There comes a time when people refuse to repent – Rev.9:20,21; 16:9,11

Repentance includes not only “a change of mind” but also godly sorrow for sin, and at times, restitution, a change of direction, and indeed a change of lifestyle. Need to understand what Biblical repentance really is and its components.

A catastrophic flood has overtaken the city of Rasuwa, Nepal that is just north of Kathmandu. We support Raju Sundas and his ministry based in Kathmandu. 98 people dead, 800 missing as an earthquake triggered the collapse of a glacier that flooded the area.
