There will be a memorial service for Ted Reed at the Interlachen Methodist Church on Sept. 3, 2026, at 11 a.m. with a lunch to follow.

Ted Reed Obituary

Today we are here to Honor Ted Reed, who passed away quietly in his sleep in the early morning hours of August 22, 2026, after an extensive battle with cancer.
Ted Lewis Reed was born August 4, 1949, to Henry and Helen Reed in Jamestown, NY.
He was 77 years old and he was quite happy to have reached the number of completion and to have been the oldest living male in his family for 5 generations.
Ted was active member of the Interlachen Methodist Church. He said this church was home and family. Interlachen was his little slice of heaven.
He was a machinist mate in the Navy and had a career in the corrections system.
He loved the Lord with all his heart.
He was loved by many, especially his wife, Sandra, along with the family and the church.
He was proceeded in death by his father, Henry; his brother, Mark; his mother, Helen; his son, Troy; and a grandson, Jack.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sandra; daughter, Lisa (SIL Dan); son, David ( DIL Lisa); daughter, Nicole ( SIL Johnny); grandchildren, Marina, Ben, Jonathon, Cheyenne, Morgan, Laney, Reed and Cliff; and 6 great-grandchildren, Nexus, Apollo, Jackson, Hayes, Oakley and Frankie.
He will be truly missed.

Boyleston St., this Saturday, August 29, from 7-10 a.m. Adults $7.00, Children $3.50. Menu items include Pancakes, French Toast, Sausage Patties, Sausage Gravy and Biscuits, Eggs Scrambled or Fried, Cheesy Grits or Regular, Toast, Coffee, and Juice. What a great deal and great meal! After all of the wonderful blessings and accolades, our Pastor's Wife Carol expressed her thanks and appreciation to the congregation. All in all, it was a very special morning and we are very thankful for our Pastor's Wife Carol and our Pastor David Miller. God has truly blessed our congregation with them both!!
