In Jeremiah 45, God gives a difficult but honest message: the same God who builds also tears down. The same hands that plant can uproot. It’s not because He is cruel, but because He is sovereign. He sees the whole picture when we only see the small piece in front of us.

Many of us spend our lives asking God to build things—relationships, careers, ministries, dreams, and plans. Yet sometimes the very things He allowed to be built begin to come apart. When that happens, our first instinct is often to question His goodness. But Jeremiah reminds us that God’s work is bigger than our comfort.

The reality of living in a broken world is that there will be pain. There will be suffering. There will be seasons of groaning and loss. God never promises a life free from hardship. In fact, He tells His people there will be more difficulties ahead.

Yet woven into that hard truth is an incredible gift: we get to live this life knowing our Creator.

Even when things fall apart, God remains. Even when dreams change, God remains. Even when we walk through grief, disappointment, or uncertainty, we do not walk alone. The greatest blessing is not that everything stays together forever; it’s that the one who holds all things together is with us.

Jeremiah 45 reminds us that our hope is not found in what God builds for us, but in God Himself. The things of this world may come and go, but we have the privilege of knowing Him, trusting Him, and walking with Him through every season.

Jesus is putting this world back together and He ain’t quitting until He is done.

Power of Connection (John 15:5):
Just as a kite needs a string to fly, we need to stay connected to Jesus to live fully. A "flyaway" kite often breaks free, thinking it will be freer, only to fall or get broken. While life can feel chaotic, staying anchored to Jesus provides safety and purpose. 🪁

At first glance, those animals seem like an odd combination. They are different, unlikely to be grouped together, and not what most people would expect to see side by side. Yet somehow, the phrase works—it reminds us that even the most unlikely things can belong together.

That’s a lot like the people Jesus surrounded Himself with.

When Jesus built His closest circle, He didn’t choose the people others expected. He didn’t gather the polished, perfect, or the people who seemed to “have it all together.” Instead, He chose fishermen, tax collectors, doubters, and people with messy stories. He welcomed those who had made mistakes, who were overlooked, and who were judged by others.

Think about Mary, the woman who poured expensive perfume on Jesus’ feet. To the people around her, it looked wasteful, foolish, and embarrassing. Some criticized her openly. They saw bad judgment. But Jesus saw devotion. He saw love. While others focused on what didn’t make sense, Jesus honored her heart.

That’s what Jesus does—He sees beyond what others see.

Where people see failure, Jesus sees faith.
Where people see mistakes, Jesus sees potential.
Where people see someone who doesn’t fit, Jesus sees someone who belongs.

The truth is, Jesus has always built His kingdom with “unlikely” people—the ones others may underestimate or misunderstand. The ones who don’t always have it together. The ones with a past. The ones who have made bad decisions. The ones who may not look like the obvious choice.

And that means you are His kind of people too.

No matter what others have said about you, no matter what mistakes you’ve made, no matter if you feel unqualified or out of place—Jesus sees you, chooses you, and calls you His.

You may feel like an unlikely pick, but so were the people closest to Jesus.

And that’s the beauty of the Gospel: Jesus people are not the perfect people—they are the willing people.

So when the world says, “They don’t belong,” Jesus says, “They are mine.”

Lions and tigers and bears may seem like an unlikely group, but they belong in the story. And so do you.
You are one of Jesus’ people—not because you have it all together, but because He called you to Himself.

The way we interact on social media is pretty simple: like, comment, follow, and share.

And honestly, our relationship with Jesus can look a lot like that.

At first, we may just like the idea of Jesus. We are interested, curious, and drawn to Him, but not quite ready to say much.

Then, as we learn more about who He is, maybe we begin to comment. We start engaging in conversation, asking questions, praying honest prayers, and leaning in a little closer.

As our faith grows and we truly begin to know Him, we decide to follow. We go all in. We trust Him, surrender our lives, and choose to walk with Him daily.

And when we really begin to see what He has done for us—how deeply He loves us and how He is putting this broken world back together—we can’t help but share.

Sharing Jesus doesn’t require having all the answers. You don’t need to know every scripture. You don’t need a degree.
You are already equipped with the most important thing: your relationship with Jesus.

So don’t hold back. What He has done in your life matters. Your story matters.
Share Him.

Advice can be free. Encouragement can be free. Words can be given easily, passed from one person to another with the best intentions. And we’re grateful for those friends—the ones who listen, who speak truth, who show up. That kind of love matters.

But there’s something deeper about hearing from someone who’s actually been there. Someone who doesn’t just understand in theory, but in memory. Someone who doesn’t just offer words, but carries scars of the experience.

We all know the difference.

And that’s what makes Jesus so different.

He didn’t stay distant. He didn’t shout advice from afar. He stepped into it. Into the mess, the pain, the waiting, the temptation, the heartbreak. He lived it. Fully. Honestly. Completely.

So when He speaks, it’s not just good advice—it’s experienced truth.

When He comforts, it’s not surface-level—it’s from a place of having walked through suffering Himself.

He knows.

And more than that—He’s not finished.

He hasn’t quit.
He won’t quit.
Not until it’s whole again.
He never loses.
