Last week we picked back up in our Romans series, focusing on Romans 12:9–10. In the first eleven chapters, Paul paints a sweeping portrait of a loving God who has lavished believers with a rich and full salvation — one that transforms us from the inside out, shaping us more and more into the image of Christ. Because of that mercy, Paul calls us to respond as living sacrifices: people who love others not out of obligation, but from the heart. The Holy Spirit helps us joyfully love and honor one another.
This Sunday we'll press on through Romans 12, as Paul continues unpacking what it actually looks like to love others well. We'll see that this kind of love isn't passive — it's hard work that glorifies God and stretches our faith. It demands patience, humility, and lots of prayer.
After the service, our CrossPoint family comes together for our annual Backyard Bash! Think great food, good games, and even better fellowship. Whether you've been with us for years or are joining us for the first time, you are warmly welcome. Come and worship with us at 10am and then spend some time with the people who make this community so special. We'd love to see you there!
