Today’s message from 2 Timothy chapter 2 was a powerful reminder of what it means to live with purpose and discipline in our walk with Christ.
Paul paints a clear picture through the examples of a soldier, an athlete, and a farmer. Each one is committed, consistent, and willing to endure in order to see the reward. It challenges us to reflect on the kind of effort and focus we’re putting into our own spiritual growth.
A key takeaway from today’s message was the importance of accountability. Not the kind that condemns, but the kind that comes from genuine care. People in our lives who are willing to speak truth, encourage us, and lovingly correct us when needed help keep us grounded and moving in the right direction.
We are not meant to walk this journey alone. Growth happens in community through relationships that strengthen, challenge, and support us.
Who in your life is helping sharpen you? And who are you helping grow?
