Today our hearts are full of joy and gratitude as we celebrate our children receiving their First Communion. What a beautiful and sacred moment to witness them receive Jesus for the very first time, His Body and Blood. We are so proud of each of them and thankful for their families who have walked alongside them in faith.

As we enter the month of May, we also honor our Blessed Mother, Mary. May she continue to guide our children closer to her Son and wrap our community in her love and protection.

Thank you, Lord, for these blessings and for the gift of our faith. 💛

What a way to end the year! Thank you to everyone who has helped make this a great year, we truly believe something great is brewing in our little Catholic Community!

Here is a prayer you can pray today for our CCE students:

Heavenly Father,
You have entrusted these children to our care,
a precious gift formed by Your love.

Watch over them, Lord, in all they do.
Protect them in their days of play and rest,
and guide them in every step they take.

Fill their hearts with faith, hope, and charity.
Help them to know You, love You,
and follow You all the days of their lives.

Strengthen them when they are afraid,
comfort them when they are hurting,
and lead them always in Your truth.

Bless their families and all who teach and care for them.
May we be good examples of Your love and mercy.

Holy Mary, Mother of God,
wrap them in your mantle and lead them to your Son.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Church Friends!! We received a call this afternoon from the coordinator of the MS150 rest stop at our church. He is running VERY short on volunteers and wanted to ask if we had anyone that could help. The hours for the rest stop are 8am-4pm, with more help needed from 12pm-4pm. You would be helping to serve snacks to the riders. If you are able to help out at all for any of that, please let Pastor Kathleen know. Call/text/email or facebook message. (You don't have to be a member of our church to help...just shoot us a message for details!) This is a great opportunity for youth needing volunteer hours, or for anyone wanting to see what all this bike ride is about.
