The church went through the Dark Ages. Men like Luther and Wesley sought truth. The Holiness and Pentecostal movements saw a restoration of healing and the baptism of the Holy Ghost. The Jesus name Oneness Pentecostals again baptized like the apostles, in Jesus name! They understood Jesus to be Jehovah who saves us. Jesus is God in bodily form!

The church began to change baptism and to consign Jesus to a second place.
