This weekend we were reminded of the powerful reality of what it means to be “in Christ Jesus.” Paul uses this phrase throughout his letters to show all that believers have because of Jesus.

In Christ, we are redeemed, alive to God, set free from the law of sin and death, made new, justified, forgiven, brought near to God, given every spiritual blessing, and created for good works. Being in Christ means we are no longer defined by sin, shame, or separation — we are sons and daughters of God, united with His people, filled with hope, and secure in His promises.

Be encouraged today: being in Christ is the place of freedom and life. It makes all the difference — and we need to know who we are in Him.

God is still the God of second chances.

The same God who called Jonah back after he ran…
The same God who showed mercy to Nineveh…
The same God who went to the cross for our sins…
is still calling people to return to Him today.

No matter where you find yourself—whether you’ve simply drifted off course or you feel buried beneath the weight of your failures—His invitation remains the same:

“Turn to Me.”

His mercy has not run out.
His grace has not changed.
And repentance is still the doorway back home.
