In 1 Kings 3, Pastor Brose dives into the story of two women coming before King Solomon, seeking his wisdom to determine who the child’s mother is.

Solomon asks for a sword, but it is not intended for the child. It is actually meant to divide the women’s hearts—to separate pretense from genuine love in the situation.

The sword revealed who truly loved and cared for the child’s welfare and who was acting out of hurt and spite.
