Tomorrow is FAMILY SUNDAY! 🎉

Tomorrow is Family Sunday at Indianola First, and K–5th graders will be joining us in the sanctuary! It’s going to be a great morning for the whole family as we worship together.

Sometimes what we need to surrender to God isn’t something bad. It’s something good.

Elisha had a good life, but he was willing to leave it behind to fully follow God’s calling. At times we have to ask ourselves: What good thing am I allowing to compete with God?

What are you willing to lay down to follow Him?

Following God may require us to let go of what feels comfortable and familiar, but when we surrender it to Him, we make room for His purpose and plan. What God is calling you to may be greater than what you’re holding onto.

We live in a world constantly filled with noise, information, and distractions. But sometimes, we need to slow down, loosen our grip, and simply be still. When we quiet the agitation around us, we create space for God’s voice, His peace, and His presence to settle into our souls. The goal isn’t just to know more about God—it’s to know Him more deeply. Be still, and make room for God to reveal what He’s placed within you.
