Last week we started our Sown Together Sunday School series! Each week between services at 9:25, members of all ages come together to dive into the word and look at the parables of Jesus.

This week we talked deeper about the parables of the lost sheep and lost coin (Luke 15:1-10). God searches relentlessly for what is lost and no one is too far gone. There is something special about being able to learn about Jesus side by side with all generations and everyone is welcome to join!

Next week we will be learning about The Prodigal Son, we would love to see you there. ☺️

Lord,
Thank you for providing us with the opportunity to serve and provide for our community every Wednesday night. May you bless every person who receives a meal and those who help prepare it. We pray that we can continue to honor you and share your good news to everyone we encounter.

We truly appreciate everyone who helps put our Wednesday night meals together from donations to serving and everything in between. Huge thanks to Capital City Fruit for the donation of fresh produce from week to week! Being able to offer this is something truly special!

We hope to see everyone again next Wednesday night 5:30-7pm in Moats Park.

Jesus didn’t wait for Matthew to clean up his life before calling him. He met him right where he was and said, “Follow Me.”

The same is true for us. Whatever you’ve done. Whatever you’ve carried. Whatever you think disqualifies you from God’s grace, Jesus sees it all and still calls you to follow him.

You do not have to “get better” before coming to Jesus. He says “Come, and I’ll make you new.”
