At Indianola First our kids (infant through 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way. Today, K–5th grade will join their parents in service for Family Sunday!
Don’t forget your notebooks + crayons! Kids can take notes during Pastor Barry's sermon, and sermon note/coloring sheets will be available from the hosts at each door.

Bring your completed sermon notes back to Kids Church next week for a prize! 🎉

(Infants, toddlers, preschool & Galaxy room are still open as usual.)

Family Sunday happens on the 5th Sunday of the months that have one - it’s a special opportunity for our elementary kids to sit with their families, worship together, and experience service as a family!

Tomorrow in Kids Church, every kid will get a keychain for their backpack to carry with them into the new school year.
A little reminder from Philippians 4:6–7. We want your kids to know that no matter what they face...whether they’re feeling nervous, worried, excited, or unsure, they can always pray, talk to God, and trust Him. He hears them, and His peace guards their hearts, minds and is always with them.

Tonight in Kids Church, our Upper Elementary kids will be getting a Prayer Pal Mission Card! They’ll receive another kid’s first name, hang it somewhere in their room, and commit to praying for their Prayer Pal all school year long. 📚🙏

It's going to be a sweet way to kick off the school year... praying for our friends, encouraging one another, and believing God for what He wants to do in each other’s lives!!! See you tonight!

We wrapped up our Joseph series today, and what an incredible month it’s been! 📖

Over the past four weeks, your kids discovered:
✨ God speaks purpose over my life.
✨ God is with me when life isn’t fair.
✨ I can be faithful wherever God places me.
✨ God can turn my setbacks into something good.

Each week, kids who brought their Bible colored in a square on Joseph’s coat of many colors and today, it was finally complete! 🎉 We celebrated with a Popsicle Party to celebrate all they’ve learned and their faithfulness in showing up and growing in God’s Word.

We can’t wait to see what God has in store next… 👀💙💛🧡
