“No Worries!”

Philippians 4:6-7 ESV

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Some are tempted today to look at our homes, our communities or our country and feel dismay or dread! Don’t worry! GOD IS STILL SOVEREIGN! He sees what you see and His attention is fixed on it! Trust His power and His hand. Pray about it all. Praise Him in it all. Praise Him “through” it all!

Something Is About To Happen!

1 Kings 19: 11 The Lord said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.”

Elijah was overwhelmed, He was tired of people, tired of life, tired of the stress and anxiety and wanted his life to end. Someone you love is feeling the same. Try as you may, your words of comfort may not be enough for them. Love compels you to pray for them. As you pray and ask God to protect them mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually also assure them that the Lord is about to whisper to them.

Ask them to hold their heads up so they can witness God’s deliverance. In love, tell them to stand atop all the fear and dread and wait for the Lord to pass by. Wait on His voice! He will direct them to help and rest. God’s gift of life to them, to all of us, is in His love for us and His purpose for us. With His whisper to us in a time of distress will come power and might! Ignore the voices that seed woe and hearken only to the voice of love, victory, deliverance, and hope.

Walking With Weeds

“Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? From whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, an enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.” (Matt 13:24-30)

Unless able to completely isolate yourself or your children, the reality of living is that we share the earth with those of like theology and ideology and those whose paths are morally distant from our own. Jesus teaches that we all will grow in proximity to one another, both wheat and tares. In our environment of growing are those/they who wish to sway us, kill us, displace us, or discount us. Our survival depends on learning to coexist despite their presence through the consumption of prayer, praise, and preparation.

We can walk with weeds if we bury the WORD of God in our hearts. We can walk with weeds without fear if we clothe ourselves with the armor of God. Walk with the conviction of Christ. You may have to walk with weeds, but you do not have to walk like them! See with the eyes and heart of Christ. No matter how crowded the field, or the neighborhood appears, you can walk with weeds as long as you remember to clothe yourself and feed yourself with the supernatural power of Jesus Christ.

Here is a goal…Walk to be with HIM , not without HIM.

“Search Us”

Psalm 139:23-24 (NIV)

“Search me, God, and know my heart, test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”

Prayer:

“Lord reveal to us those things we are blind to regarding our own selves. Search us and then reveal to us everything that is unpleasant to you so that we can no longer be ignorant. Having exposed those ways which are not yours, please give us the courage to correct our course.

Restrain us from being poor imitations of you! When we are considered by others, allow them to see a connective nature and spirit between all who proclaim you as Savior. Gift us with ever flowing joy that we can share with others, compassion that we may serve and vision that we may see who has need of our gifts and our love.

Amen

You Better Make Your Move!

Isaiah 41:9-10 NIV

“I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, ‘You are my servant’; I have chosen you and have not rejected you. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

How dare you hesitate because of how you started or what you look like! Your rise was contemplated and constructed before you were headfirst into that physical, mental or spiritual freefall. God knew that the weaponry that tore you apart would be repurposed to serve as iron to reinforce your faith and your strength. Doubt, fear, frustration, gossip nor failures can block your come out or come up! The old preachers used to say that God can take you from the “Guttermost to the Uttermost” and it is and always will be a sound proclamation!

Go ahead and make your moves! God chose you for this moment. God chose you for this position. Accept the challenge. Accept the invite. You are a chosen champion. Make a move to walk in His favor knowing that you are empowered and embraced. From whatever physical, mental or spiritual location you reside, God has a grip so tightly connected to you that His strength and His protection abounds for you! Do not hesitate to make your move! You ain't by yourself!

Don’t Focus on the Crowd

Luke 19:37-40 ESV37 As he was drawing near—already on the way down the Mount of Olives—the whole multitude of his disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen, 38 saying, “Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!” 39 And some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples.” 40 He answered, “I tell you, if these were silent, the very stones would cry out.”

Many measure their successes and their come up with the breadth of the crowd that is present to see them in their expansion. Jesus understood that everyone who was gaping was not caping for Him. There were enemies, frenemies and haters standing alongside those who remembered the struggles, the breakthroughs and the faith that opened the doors of heaven for themselves and others along His journey. There were always people counting on His fall from the cradle to the cross! Don’t focus on the crowd. Focus on God!

“Move On”

Exodus 14:13-15 (NIV)

“Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on.”

God has got you! No more fear! God is Fighting for you! Your deliverance is right now! Move on! Praise God…

2 Corinthians 13:11 ESV

“Finally, brothers, rejoice. Aim for restoration, comfort one another, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.”

“Fix It”

Perhaps you remember the hurt, perhaps you even remember the reason for the pain. Whatever the cause or conflict in your life, it is time to push aside the grievance that has stolen your power, your time and relationships. It is time to fix the fault! It does not matter who was right or wrong. If your flow and ebb is to be in and with Christ, you will find absolute harmony with Him by electing to live in peace.

Healing begins within. Allow the Holy Spirit within you to help you. Restoration can be difficult, finding commonality can be difficult, but with God it is possible. That unpaid loan wasn’t worth your peace. Those hurtful words or actions you suffered because of another aren’t worth missing out on the power of togetherness. There is power in unity and love. You are called to Fix it! Even if you believe that you were right, you are wrong if you do not forgive as God forgives you.

“Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert

“Face Forward!”

God stands ready, willing, and able to begin something new and “unique to you”. The provision for a power up is staged and full of amazing acquisitions and increases. In the middle of your unhappy place God has opened a door and created a path for you that will bring a “Hallelujah” to your story and give Him glory! Face Forward! Step out on it and walk through!!

You are about to see something new that will exceed your wildest expectations. Stop reviewing yesterday. It happened. It wasn’t pretty. It was just strength conditioning. Stop accepting appointments for beatdowns tied to old journeys. Face Forward! Make the move! Move forward and lay hold of the remnants of God’s declaration of favor on your life. Stop trying to define your possibilities by past performances.

Face Forward! Walk Forward! No detours or stops allowed. The rhythm of power anointing and promise are ready to overflow in your life. Do you feel it? Your dessert situation is about to be transformed into an atmosphere of abundance.
