Missionary Disciples Institute Week-long experience that prepares high school students to be young missionaries who serve their communities and impact the world through the local church.

Marian University is excited to welcome high school leaders to a youth theological institute called Missionary Disciples Institute (MDI). MDI will be held on June 14-19, 2021 on the campus of Marian University in Indianapolis, Indiana. MDI will accept up to 75 high school students who have an openness and desire to take on leadership roles as young missionaries to serve their communities and impa

ct the world through the local church. Students will experience a variety of dynamic prayer opportunities, hear national keynote speakers, journey through a ministry track with a college professor, learn practical ministry skills through the immersion experience, and write a missionary plan to bring back to their church or high school. Day 4 // COMMUNITY

Thursday was AMAZING! After an energetic keynote from Dr. Mark Nimo, we headed out into the Indy community to learn how to live out our gifts in tangible ways. We closed out the night with MDI Olympics — cup stacking, tug of war, co****le, and more.

MDI day 1 recap // Encounter!

The day has finally come! Our students arrived to campus yesterday and MDI 2023 has officially begun! We celebrated Mass together, used our gifts and talents in trivia, and started creating amazing friendships.

After months apart, a bunch of the participants, college mentors, and faculty from MDI 2022 joined together on campus for our reunion!

It’s hard to believe, but yesterday was the final day of MDI 2022 — featuring our Commissioning Mass and closing celebration 🙌🏽

Words can’t describe how the Lord has moved through the open hearts and huge faith of these students. We are beyond grateful to send them back to their communities as missionary disciples on fire for Him!
