Nine members of the Coleman family (some pictured) of Indianapolis were tragically lost in a recent Branson, MO. boat accident. The family belongs to Zion Tabernacle Apostolic Church, with which I will contact to turn over all raised funds (to the family) for incurred expenses from this tragedy...

No single event has influenced the history of labor in Illinois, the U.S. and the world more than the Chicago Haymarket Affair. It began on May 4, 1886, with a rally supporting workers on strike for an eight-hour workday, and ended with a bomb blast that killed many and retaliation against workers that can still be felt today. May 1, or ‪ #‎MayDay, also known as International Workers Day commemorates the Haymarket Affair and honors the sacrifices that workers have made throughout history to secure hard-won rights. Today, let's commit to continue to work together to lift up working families around the world. ‪ #‎USWWorks
