“Sis. Dionna Archey and Friends at her April 25th book launch, The Green Bean Coffee Shop, Cumberland, IN”

EMBC’s Sisters4Sisters is excited to introduce Dionna Archey to our Christian readers community. Dionna is the daughter of Sis. Kathy Archey, a member of our church’s security team and a faithful supporter of our women’s ministry.

Dionna is a multi-talented entrepreneur, artist, and naturalist. She recently debuted her God-given gift of writing with her devotional, In the Quiet with Jesus, now available in paperback and on Kindle via Amazon.

Today’s Zoom & Bloom was everything 🌸✨

We dove into ALL the Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23)—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—and had such real, uplifting conversation about what it truly looks like to walk in them daily.

Our facilitators came through highlighting powerful women in the Bible who embodied these fruits, and whew… the lessons hit different

We also welcomed some beautiful new faces—hey sis! 💕 The energy, the honesty, the growth… it was so good.

We were left with a challenge: What will you do to have your fruit remain?

Already looking forward to the next one 🌿

Modesty: Modern or Misunderstood?” — and whew… what a conversation! 💬💕

Our intergenerational ladies-only table talk was everything. From the “Sages” to the “Sassies,” we had honest, respectful, thought-provoking dialogue centered around 1 Timothy 2:9 and the question… Who decides?

We talked about:
• What modesty meant then vs. what it means now
• Cultural influence vs. biblical principles
• Personal conviction vs. public perception
• How different generations view fashion, faith, and femininity

There was wisdom. There was transparency. There was growth. And most importantly, there was unity. 💜

So grateful for every woman who showed up, spoke up, listened, and leaned in. These are the conversations that strengthen us and bring clarity across generations.

If you missed it, you definitely missed something special — but don’t worry… this won’t be the last! 👑
