Thank you for showing up for our city with donations to aid in flood relief! We will continue to collect and distribute items as the need for help will be ongoing.

Items of greatest need:
•cleaning supplies (including work gloves)
•bottled water
•baby items (diapers, wipes, formula)
•non-perishable food items

Indiana has seen historic flooding over the last week, and many of our neighboring communities are fighting the damage left in its wake. How can we help?

Practically ➡️ We are collecting donations over the next few weeks to provide for families in need. Examples:
•Nonperishable food items
•Diapers, Wipes, Formula
•Personal Hygiene Items
•Batteries
•Bottled water
•Cleaning supplies

We will be connecting with local organizations to help distribute donations where they are most needed.

Spiritually ➡️ Pray for the families that have been displaced. Pray for the businesses that have lost their source of income. Pray for the local churches that are engaging to serve the community.

Let’s be the hands and feet of Jesus and be a source of light in a dark time for our state. 🤲🏻

We believe following Jesus was never meant to be done alone. Community Groups are where we open our lives to one another, build meaningful relationships, pray together, and grow together as disciples of Jesus.

For the first six weeks, every Community Group will walk through FORMED: How to Treasure Jesus—a study designed to unpack what we mean when we say our mission is to treasure Jesus and help others follow Him.

Whether you’ve been at The District for years or you’re brand new, this is a great time to jump into a group! We would love to get you plugged in.

Every year, we like to kick off our Community Groups with a little fun at the fair. 🎡

Come join us tonight at the Indiana State Fair for $2 Tuesday! Grab some fried treats, ride a ride, and see if you can find the biggest pig. 🐖

If you want to join, send us a message so we can get you the meet-up info! And if all else fails, you will surely find someone at the pork tent or the fresh corn stand. 😏 🌽

🟥Someone recently asked me, “How are you processing 10 years as a church?” I gave the general answer I’ve given to several others who have asked:

“I’m thrilled to be celebrating 10 years. Many church plants I know personally didn’t make it to 10 years. I’m excited to celebrate with guests and our annual pie party ...”

On and on, I continued. All true things. All good things. All celebrated things.

Then he asked again, “How are YOU processing 10 years as a church?” This time, I paused and remembered what James taught me about being “quick to listen and slow to speak.”

The longer I paused, the more that question struck me, primarily because of the complexity wrapped up in the last 10 years. 🟥

What started as a handful of people gathering in a home has become a church family committed to one simple mission: treasuring Jesus and helping others follow Him.

Over the last decade, we’ve worshiped in a house, a movie theater, a coworking space, and now spreading our roots in the heart of Broad Ripple. Through every season, one thing has remained the same:

On Sunday, August 2nd at 9:00am, we’d love for you to celebrate with us as we thank God for a decade full of grace, and look ahead to a future full of hope.

🇺🇸 HAPPY 250TH BIRTHDAY, AMERICA.

We thank God for those who sacrificed so we could live free.

Freedom isn’t free.
Neither was our salvation.

We’re grateful to live in a nation where we can gather openly, preach the gospel boldly,
and worship Jesus freely.

May we never take that gift for granted.

As Christians, we can love our country, but Jesus gets our worship.

The flag deserves respect. Only Jesus deserves the glory.

America gave us political freedom. Jesus gives us eternal freedom.

“If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” John 8:36

Today we celebrate our nation. Tomorrow we continue our mission.

Come on by 2021 E 52nd St for a free Car Wash!

Hey TDC! The weather is not playing into our favor tomorrow for a carwash. It’ll be 32 at the start and cars likely don’t want us spraying ice on them.

After some discernment and prayer, here’s the plan. We are going to postpone the carwash and cleanup for better weather in April/May.

As for tomorrow, we are going to pivot and take this as an opportunity to serve the Lord by seeking Him together in prayer.

We are going to have an hour of guided prayer together. We’re going to start approximately at 10:30 and go until 11:30.

If you are able to make it, this will be a sweet and intimate time with Jesus, treasuring and abiding with Him together.

We do not have a plan for kids since this is a last minute change up, so I’ll let you decide what to do in that area. Come and pray together as a family for a bit, or just send one!
