The District Church

The District Church The District Church is a community that treasures Jesus and helps others follow Him.

The District Church is a new church in Indianapolis which exists to glorify God by making disciples and planting churches. The District Church seeks to accomplish this mission by sharing life and the Gospel through Gospel-centered Worship, Gospel-centered Discipleship, and Gospel-centered Multiplication. We are redundant about being Gospel-centered because the Gospel is the means by which we as a

church exist and function. The good news of Jesus' forgiveness for sinners drives every aspect of our church. We want to share this good news with the city to see God conform the city to be like Jesus.

Hey TDC! The weather is not playing into our favor tomorrow for a carwash. It’ll be 32 at the start and cars likely don’t want us spraying ice on them.

After some discernment and prayer, here’s the plan. We are going to postpone the carwash and cleanup for better weather in April/May.

As for tomorrow, we are going to pivot and take this as an opportunity to serve the Lord by seeking Him together in prayer.

We are going to have an hour of guided prayer together. We’re going to start approximately at 10:30 and go until 11:30.

If you are able to make it, this will be a sweet and intimate time with Jesus, treasuring and abiding with Him together.

We do not have a plan for kids since this is a last minute change up, so I’ll let you decide what to do in that area. Come and pray together as a family for a bit, or just send one!

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of a sacred season—a slow and intentional walk with Jesus toward the cross and the empty tomb.

Lent invites us into holy attention. It calls us to look steadily at the suffering Christ and to listen carefully to the promises He fulfilled. It is not a season of earning God’s favor, but of marveling at the mercy and grace already given. It’s not a season of sorrow alone, but a road that leads to resurrection joy.

This year, we will journey together through a 40-day devotional curated by J. A. Medders, drawing from the Christ-exalting sermons of Charles Spurgeon. Spurgeon’s words carry us back to Calvary with reverence and forward to the empty tomb with hope. Each reading will turn our eyes again to the Lamb who was slain and the Lord who now reigns.

Our journey starts today! If you still need a book, grab one from our welcome table this Sunday.

We’re living in a loud and divided world, and it’s getting more confusing to know how to live faithfully in the middle of it.

This Sunday we begin a new series called BOLD, a verse by verse sermon series in 1 Peter on what it means to follow Jesus with courage and clarity in a culture pulling us in every direction.

Christians are not called to live in confusion, but conviction. Come and learn the difference between headlines and holiness, pressure and purpose.

See you Sunday at 9am. Bring a friend and a hungry heart to grow in love for Jesus and likeness to Him!

This Sunday, December 28, we will observe a Day of Renewal as a church. Rather than gathering for a corporate service, we are intentionally creating space to rest, renew, and return as we gather in our homes and with our families.

This pause is not a step away from worship, but a reminder that God invites His people to receive rest as a gift. Throughout Scripture, the Lord calls His people to rhythms of work and rest—because renewal fuels faithfulness. As a church family, we want to model those rhythms and care well for those who faithfully serve week in and week out.

As we look ahead to 2026, our prayer is that this Day of Renewal would help us to rest in Jesus, renew our strength, and return with charisma ready to continue the work the Lord has entrusted to us—treasuring Jesus and helping others follow Him.

We look forward to gathering again refreshed and ready for what God has ahead on January 4th.
