you help feed the homeless, and the money you donate helps to buy the food we need to feed the homeless, come out and help us. Project Homeless was started and still operated by Ed Calton who was homeless himself. Out of that experience, he sought to simply help those who are on the streets by providing some basic needs such as food, water, blankets, and sweatshirts. He occasionally meets someone

who he is able to assist in finding employment and uses funds raised to help them stay employed by getting them in temporary housing like a hotel room or even an apartment. Ed also assists youth on the streets to return to their families by using funds raised to purchase bus tickets home. Project Homeless is basically Ed and volunteers, keeping operation costs at a minimum to maximize the use of funds to go to directly assisting the homeless. Most of all Project Homeless is about compassion...simply reaching out to our fellow children of God in love and compassion.
