I just finished adding the rest of my 20+ years of work experience on LinkedIn. What took me so long?

Around 2011, I wanted out of corporate and sought out a creative marketing role because that is my background. And frankly, I missed engaging my creative side. So I curated my LinkedIn to only focus on marketing and event planning at the time to land a new job.

I remember when I would craft my resume, I would say to myself, "So which version am I portraying for this job role?"

🆔 We wrap our identity into our role at work, it blurs the lines of who we TRULY ARE as a person. 💜

It's not until we no longer are in that role do we realize just how much we clenched on to a version of ourselves that we outgrew years prior.
