This past Sunday, we were honored to have Chris Giden, a gifted gospel recording artist, worship with us and lead us in a powerful, anointed solo. He is truly a remarkable man of God, fresh off the live recording of his new album Proximity.

Theme: “The Comeback Is Behind Closed Doors”

Church, hear this word from Pastor Estes:

1. Your Comeback Is Being Crafted in Private

Family, Pastor Estes reminded us that your greatest breakthroughs are happening where nobody can see you.

• Folks may see your smile, but they don’t know the warfare, tears, and pressure behind it.
• God is shaping your comeback behind closed doors, not on public platforms.

This is the essence of private consecration.

2. Stop Trusting the Crowd — Trust Christ

From Mark 5, the Pastor walked us through Jairus’s journey.

• Status couldn’t save his daughter. Connections couldn’t fix the crisis.
• The crowd can walk with you, but only Jesus can resurrect what’s dying.
• This is the season to shift your dependence from people to Christ alone.

A call to deeper Christ-centered faith.

3. Hold Your Faith When Bad News Shows Up

Pastor Estes told us that bad news often arrives right when hope starts rising.

• Just like Jairus, negativity came after he started believing again.
• Jesus answered the fear with one command: “Be not afraid, only believe.”
• You were encouraged to silence every voice that contradicts God’s promise.

This is true faith under pressure.

4. God Does His Best Work Behind the Scenes

Before the miracle, Jesus put the noisy, doubtful crowd out.

• You were instructed to remove doubt, fear, depression, and every voice draining your faith.
• Pastor Estes compared it to a phone repair shop:• The real work happens in the back room, not at the counter.
• God is repairing, restoring, and rebuilding you in the places no one sees.

A reminder of the power of spiritual separation.

5. Praise in Private Before You Announce It Publicly

The Pastor closed with wisdom for this season:

• Keep your victories private for now.
• Not everyone can handle what God is doing in you.
• When you praise God in private, He will elevate you in public.
• Give your victory report to God first, then let Him reveal it in His timing.

This requires discernment of spiritual seasons.

✨ Final Charge to the House

Your comeback is already in motion.
It’s happening in the quiet places.
In the unseen places.
In the places where only God has access.

And when He brings you out, it will be undeniable.

🔥 Sunday Sermon Recap — Archbishop Anthony Boyd

Theme: “I’m Okay — Encouraging Yourself in the Lord”

🙌 Overcoming Personal Struggles

This week, Archbishop Boyd reminded the house that survival is a testimony all by itself.

• He celebrated Delonda’s 66th birthday, honoring the beauty of celebrating sober, healed, and restored after past struggles.
• He declared that whatever you had to endure to get here was necessary, and the miracle is that you arrived.
• Even the challenges of the past week were stepping stones to your current strength.

This was a call to gratitude, resilience, and overcoming struggle with a thankful heart.

👑 The Example of King David — 1 Samuel 30

The Archbishop took us into 1 Samuel 30, where David faced one of the darkest moments of his life.

• His family was taken. His possessions were gone. His men spoke of stoning him.
• Yet Scripture says David “encouraged himself in the Lord his God.”
• You were urged to take inventory, count your blessings, and recognize that even if the enemy wins a battle, he will never win the war.

This was a reminder that faith is not passive—it is active, intentional, and often forged in distress.
It was a masterclass in faith under pressure.

💬 The Power of Self‑Encouragement

The prophetic charge of the day was simple but life‑changing:

Declare over yourself: “I’m okay.”

• Speak victory. Speak healing. Speak deliverance.
• Sometimes you must prophesy to your own spirit before anyone else can.
• The Archbishop referenced the poem Footprints, reminding us that when you see only one set of footprints, the Lord is carrying you.

You were encouraged to practice the discipline of self‑encouragement—not as a cliché, but as a spiritual weapon.

🌱 A New Ministry: New Beginnings

A major announcement was released for the house:

• A new in‑person members’ class will be relaunched by the end of the summer.
• This ministry and its manual will be titled New Beginnings.
• It will serve as a fresh foundation for new members, returning members, and those seeking deeper discipleship.

This aligns with the church’s vision for ministry development and structured spiritual growth.

• “The devil may win some battles, but he will not win them all.”
• “Sometimes you have to encourage yourself. Sometimes you have to speak victory… You gotta say I’m healed. You got to say I’m delivered.”
