Heavenly Father,
we thank You for guiding the Church and for giving us a new Pope,
chosen to be the shepherd of Your people in this time.

Bless him, Lord, with wisdom and strength.
Fill his heart with compassion, his mind with truth,
and his soul with the fire of Your Spirit.

Help him to lead with humility,
to speak with courage,
and to love with the heart of Christ.

May he be a sign of unity in the Church,
a voice of hope in the world,
and a faithful servant of the Gospel.

Watch over him each day.
Keep him in good health and in Your peace,
and may Your grace guide all he says and does.

We ask this through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Lord Jesus Christ, eternal High Priest and Head of the Church,
You founded Your Church upon the rock of Peter’s faith
and promised that the gates of hell would not prevail against it.
In this time when the Chair of Peter is vacant,
we beseech You: look with mercy upon Your people.

Send Your Holy Spirit upon the Sacred College of Cardinals.
May He enlighten their minds, purify their hearts,
and strengthen their wills,
that in all things they may seek Your glory and the good of the Church.
Grant that the one they elect as the next Roman Pontiff
may be a man after Your own Heart—
faithful in doctrine, firm in justice, humble in service,
and zealous for souls.

Through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary,
Mother of the Church and Help of Christians,
and of Saint Joseph, her most chaste spouse,
and of Saint Peter, Prince of the Apostles,
guard Your Church in unity and peace.

I don’t talk about it much because it honestly hurts, but I have full on lost many relationships over the past few years for growing in my faith and trying my best to live the way God wants. I have lost friends, I have lost closeness with family members, and it hurts beyond belief, some days worse than others. But the truth is that I could lose everything and still be okay as long as I have Jesus - and I will always have Him. I love the people in my life immensely, always will even if we disagree, and I pray every day for changes in the hearts of those who need it, but there is no one allowed to come between me and Him. I no longer make compromises when it comes to the Truth, and I will be standing beside my Lord even if I’m alone.

Lord,today I give You my desires, my thoughts, my longings, and my weaknesses. Use them for Your glory, not my escape. B...
