Soma Women is a gathering of women who desire to know Jesus more deeply as we discover how our stories fit into His greater story. Whether you’re new to faith or have been following Jesus for years, we’d love for you to join us! This summer in Soma Kids, we’re exploring the Fruit of the Spirit just like the grown-ups! Through Bible stories, games, crafts, and conversations, we’re praying the Holy Spirit continues to form the character of Jesus in our kids.

Here’s some fun things coming up soon!
Soma families - join us at the splash pad this Friday for a morning of fun and connection.
This Saturday is our first Soma Midtown Disc Golf Tournament. Register using the link in our bio and come to this family friendly event at Fall Creek Disc Golf Course.
We will be having a Community Feast after the 11AM on July 12th. We’ll enjoy some yard games and lunch together as a church.

The team that went on the 2026 NRN Mission Trip to Nicaragua is back and had an unbelievably rich experience! Look through some of the photos and read about the ways that God moved. We are starting a new series called: Transformed and Transforming Presence | Cultivating the Fruit of the Spirit.

Dallas Willard once said “What God gets most out of your life is the kind of person you become.” The question we might ask next is - “What kind of person am I becoming?”

In this series, we’ll explore each aspect of the fruit of the Spirit as evidence of God’s transforming work within us. Along the way, we’ll consider practices that cultivate space and openness for the Spirit to work, and the kind of presence we become - as disciples who don’t just know what Jesus taught, but embody Jesus’ way of being in the ordinariness of our everyday lives.

Our Clear the List event was a success! God showed up in amazing ways. We were able to have the warehouse completely stocked through our Race to Restock during May, we had 107 volunteers, 9 trucks, and 24 scheduled move-ins. It was a full day of service, fun, and interacting with neighbors in need in our city. We pray that God was glorified through it all!

It’s the final week of Race to Restock! As we head into our 4th and final turn, our greatest need is small kitchen appliances. While these items may seem simple, being able to provide essentials like toasters, crockpots, coffee makers, and blenders can make a house truly feel like home for these individuals and families. We would love to have our entire shopping list covered and purchased so we can move in the 20+ we have confirmed on May 30th!

For Turn 3 of Race to Restock, we’re focusing on TVs! While a television may feel like an everyday item to many of us, for someone transitioning out of homelessness and into stable housing, it can provide a sense of comfort, rest, dignity, and normalcy in a brand-new home.

We would love for you to consider donating a TV this week as we help furnish these spaces with care and compassion.
