Indy Vineyard Church

Indy Vineyard Church We desire to encounter the love and power of God and give it away to the world. Our story begins in the summer of 1985. Join us.

Quite simply, the Vineyard Community Church is a growing community of people desiring to live out authentic relationships with God and each other. Guess jeans, Izod shirts and giant hairdos. We started off meeting in the living room of our founding pastor, Bill Jackson, with a passion for seeking God and serving people. As that first group grew and multiplied, the church began to meet at the local

YMCA. Since 2006, we’ve been gathering at our facility on Craig Street. But our story isn’t mainly about buildings and history. It’s about people – people hungry for a real encounter with the love and power of God – people longing to live out the calling of Jesus. People wanting to put flesh and blood on the truth of the Gospel. It’s about people with ideas and dreams and about the mystery that brings them together as a people called by God – a church. It’s about people encountering God and being transformed. And, it’s about those transformed people trusting God to become a community that offers transformation to the world. No matter who you are or where you’ve been, you are welcome to discover the way of Jesus as part of our community. When you come to the Vineyard on a Sunday morning, you can expect around 30 minutes of worship through music, followed by a biblical message relevant to the here and now in your life.

🍎🌿 What is your life producing? 🌿🍎

Jesus said, “By their fruit you will recognize them.” (Matthew 7:16)

The fruit of the Spirit isn’t something we manufacture through striving. It’s the evidence of a life rooted in Jesus and transformed by the Holy Spirit. 🕊️✨

As we remain connected to Christ, His Spirit produces:

❤️ Love
😊 Joy
🕊️ Peace
⏳ Patience
🤝 Kindness
💛 Goodness
🙏 Faithfulness
🌱 Gentleness
💪 Self-Control

So take a moment today to pause and reflect:

🍎 What fruit do you see growing in your life?

🌿 What fruit might the Holy Spirit be inviting you to cultivate more deeply?

🙏 Come, Holy Spirit.

Transform our hearts.
Shape our thoughts.
Grow Your fruit within us.
Make us more like Jesus.

✨ “And we all… are being transformed into His image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” — 2 Corinthians 3:18

Before you move on with your day, take a moment.

Pause.

Breathe.

Pay attention.

The art of noticing is the practice of slowing down long enough to recognize God’s presence, goodness, beauty, and activity all around us.

In creation.
In community.
In gratitude.
In the ordinary moments we often overlook.

As you swipe through these images, we invite you into a brief moment of reflection and worship.

May your eyes be opened to the wonder of God and the ways He is revealing Himself today.

Formation rarely happens in isolation.

It happens around tables 🍞
In prayer circles 🙏
In uncomfortable honesty 🤍
In celebrating together 🎉
In grieving together 🕊️
In showing up again when life feels heavy 🌧️

Jesus doesn’t just call people to believe in Him. He invites us to walk with Him — and with one another 👣

As we learn His voice ✨, practice His way 🌿, and carry His love into ordinary places 🏡☕, He slowly forms us into people who look more like Him 🤍

Youth Group Highlight: Last night we celebrated all of our middle and high school students at the annual Youth Group Golden Glow Awards. We left feeling so thankful for what God is doing in this generation.

This year we have watched students grow in boldness, compassion, worship, leadership, prayer, vulnerability, and love for Jesus. We have seen students faithfully invite friends, pray for one another, ask deep questions, serve behind the scenes, get baptized, and pursue the presence of God with genuine hunger.

There is something uniquely beautiful happening among these students. We truly believe God is stirring hearts, raising up leaders, and reminding this generation that they are deeply loved, chosen, and called.

To every middle & high school student: thank you for letting God move through your lives. We are so proud of you and expectant for all He will continue to do in and through this community.

TONIGHT 🔥🕊️✨

Last Monday we got to explore the Biblical basis for prophecy as Adam took us through a theological understanding of the gift — followed by a chance to actually “do the stuff” and practice hearing God’s voice together 🙌⚡

And guess what… you can STILL jump in tonight even if you missed last week 👀

Each class stands on its own, so coming to individual nights is completely fine! 💥

Come ready to grow in faith, encouragement, discernment, and stepping out courageously as we pursue the gifts of the Spirit together 🌱🔥

We’d LOVE to see you there tonight!!
