“And he brought me through the waters…” — Ezekiel 47:2
Ezekiel didn’t know everything that was happening, but he kept moving as the Spirit led him. The water was measured. The distance was measured. The movement was measured.
And maybe that’s the word for us: God has been intentional about every step. Even when you don’t understand the direction, trust the One who is directing you. There is purpose in the process, strategy in the steps, and grace for every place God leads you. Keep moving. Keep trusting. Keep following. 🌊🙏🏾

When our roots are anchored in God, we may bend, but we don’t have to break. 🌳

2 Corinthians 4:8-9 reminds us that we may be pressed, perplexed, persecuted, and struck down—but we are never abandoned or destroyed.

The storm may shake us. The winds may bend us. But when our roots run deep in God, we can remain standing. What’s underneath us is what keeps us steady. 🙏🏾🌱

Dr. Priscilla Moore delivered an insightful message Sunday titled “What’s feeding your roots?” coming from Jeremiah 17:7-8 NKJV.

🌳 What’s feeding your roots?
Jeremiah 17:7–8 reminds us that the strength we see above the ground is connected to what’s happening underneath it. Beneath the branches, leaves, and fruit is a root system—hidden, but essential. And when the storm comes, what’s underneath the ground is revealed by what happens above the ground.
The question isn’t just, “How do I look?” It’s “What am I rooted in?” Because what feeds your roots will determine how you stand when the storm comes. 🌱 Stay rooted in God. Let Him be your source.

🌲 Be careful which forest you’re planted in.

Wrong counsel produces wrong fruit. But when your trust is in the Lord, you’ll be like a tree planted by the waters—strong, fruitful, and unshaken. (Psalm 1:1; Jeremiah 17:7–8)

Choose your forest wisely. 🌿

Grow Through It 🌳

Sometimes, you have to go through some things to become the tree God is calling you to be. 🌳

God doesn’t want us to simply go through things—He wants us to grow through them. What feels like pressure may be producing roots. What feels like pruning may be preparing you to bear fruit.

Isaiah 61:3 reminds us that God can give us “beauty for ashes” and plant us as “trees of righteousness.” He may allow the process, but He has a purpose in it.

Don’t waste the season. Grow through it. 🌱
