This weekend is our Local Partner Sunday with Elevate Indianapolis. Come and worship alongside teens in our neighborhood, hear about our partnership with Elevate’s Transformational Leadership program, and celebrate what God is doing in the city!

Immediately after the Gathering, join us for a church wide lunch as we celebrate our partnership with Elevate.

Women of Soma, we would like to invite you to join us at The Table. Jesus spent much of his life around various tables connecting with people who were different from himself. We want to create an avenue for the women at Soma to build similar relationships.

The vision for this is to have women of different life stages and backgrounds meet in small groups once a month for three months to share a meal, have intentional conversation, and build deep relationships.

Join us for Sunday School on the first and third Sunday of every month from 9:15am-9:45am in the Basement. Adults and children are welcome.

During Sunday School, we work through the core doctrines of the Christian faith using the New City Catechism and Scripture.

Join us for Soma DNA. DNA is a look into our church’s history, beliefs, leadership, and ways to connect deeper. It is a requirement for anyone seeking membership, but you are free to come check it out without any obligation to become a member.

Join us for our second annual trip to our global partner, BELWOP.

BELWOP serves their community by caring for the orphan, providing jobs, counseling, education and food.

We’ll be doing a VBS for the kids and being an encouragement through prayer and presence.

A week from today is our Ash Wednesday Gathering at 6:00pm-7:15pm. Join us for a time of scripture meditation, prayer, and worship.

Childcare will be offered from ages 0-3. You can register for childcare in the Soma News Weekly or online at somadowntown.church/events.

Due to upcoming weather and road conditions, we have decided to cancel tomorrow’s Worship Gathering. Stay safe and we will see you next Sunday!

Unfortunately, due to the snow, our Soma Kids Christmas Program will be delayed until next Sunday, December 21st.

Tomorrow we will still have our typical Sunday Gathering and we will plan to have both the lower and upper Elementary students together in the basement to continue practicing. We hope that everyone is still able to make it, but if your child will no longer be able to participate in the Christmas Program, please let us know.
